Have you seen that commercial where the woman asks lots of questions about everything, every topic, but when the doctor asks if she has questions, she she says no?   Sometimes, real estate is the same concept, which is very interesting when you realize that the real estate transaction to purchase, sell, invest or resolve your loan challenge and avoid foreclosure may be one of the largest transactions you may be involved in, and yet we dont always do the appropriate due dilligence.  That's where we come in.
 
As a real estate professional since 1987, I am committed to provide your with the level of care and understanding so you can make a smart real estate decision.  One such way to help you is by understanding what you are wanting to do and then make sure you get prequalified for preapproved for financing so you know exactly where you stand.  Seriously, why would you want to do anything otherwise?  And yet, I see many buyers or quasi-buyers who dont take that time and it causes great disappointment in the client as well as the agent.  In fact, I liken any agent who does not insist on this as doing surgery before taking any tests or x-rays... do you want to know exactly where you stand or is it OK to "roll the dice" in what may likely be your largest sales transaction ever?  Thought so.
 
The purpose of prequalifying is just that, you prequalify to make sure where you stand.  We review your "financial health" and see if there are any particular issues we need to be aware of.  If I could get a dollar for every buyer who said there was no problem and it turned out to be a problem, I would be a richer man!  Seriously, why wouldn't you want to do it?  No time?  Not sure about buying?  Not ready to commit? 
 
If  you have a friend in the business, now would be a time to talk to that person, and if he or she really were a professional, they would likely tell you the same.  If you dont have the perverbial friend in the business, than allow me to provide some referrals that will make sense with lenders who have a track record for success and integrity, not a pie in the sky answers or results.   Wouldn't if feel much better to know exactly what your range is so you can negotiate from a position of strength and knowledge?
